Why Palm Trees Need Cleaning
A skirt of dead fronds is heavy, burns easily and gives rats and insects a place to nest. Removing it makes the palm safer and lets you see the trunk and crown as they should look. We cut only dry and damaged fronds and leave the healthy green crown, because cutting green fronds weakens the palm.
